Her large family held a party at Emmaus Catholic Center in Mount Ephraim on Aug. 21. Sister Agnes devoted herself to many household responsibilities in the communities in which she lived: Mount Saint Mary Convent in Newburgh, N.Y., (1933-49); St. Patrick Convent in Woodbury, (1949-52); and St. Augustine Convent in Larchmont, N.Y. (1952-67). In 1967, she returned to Mount Saint Mary Convent in Newburgh to engage in part-time ministry to the community there. She resides at St. Mary’s Catholic Home in Cherry Hill.
