On April 26, Sacred Heart High School, Vineland, and Cape Trinity Catholic Regional School and Wildwood Catholic, both in Wildwood, blew bubbles for autism, with April being Autism Awareness Month. Last March, the Center for Disease Control estimated that one in every 88 children in the United States has autism, a developmental disorder. Thousands of people around the country showed their support on April 26 by blowing bubbles, which symbolize joy, hope and laughter. At left, Wildwood students blow bubbles, donated by the Elks Club of North Wildwood, outside the school. The same day, Sacred Heart students joined the FACES Autism Support Network to blow bubbles at Winslow School in Vineland.
