Cultural Diversity in the Workplace will be the topic at the next meeting of the Catholic Business Network of South Jersey.
The group will meet for breakfast on Friday, March 10, 7:30 a.m. at the Woodcrest Country Club, 300 East Evesham Road, Cherry Hill, (Doors open at 7:15 a.m.)
The guest speaker will be Donna Toliver Grimes, assistant director for African American Affairs for the United States Catholic Council of Bishops (USCCB). In this role, she seeks to affirm the gifts and contributions of minority Catholics while creating opportunities for them to more fully engage in the life of the Church.
She has also worked extensively in poverty outreach, education, and health and human services not just through the USCCB, but through the U.S. Coast Guard as well. In addition to working at a national level, she is locally active as a catechist, social justice liason and as a writer for Halleluia People. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
