Catholic Charities’ Mercy In-Focus program can help parishes delve into the Year of Mercy through opportunities for meaningful encounter with the corporal works of mercy.
Catholic Charities staff speakers, who are involved with the works of mercy daily – feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless, visiting the imprisoned, and welcoming the stranger – are available to give talks and presentations. Those they serve can give personal testimonies.
Catholic Charities staff can help plan a service project for communities or groups.
Scheduled events throughout the year help bring parishioners in contact with those we serve at Catholic Charities to learn from their stories and experiences.
