Catholic Schools Week- From The Navy

Vice Admiral (retired) Nanette DeRenzi, who graduated from Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill in 1979, visited the school on Jan. 30. She was the 42nd Judge Advocate General (JAG) of the Navy, serving as principal military legal counsel to the Secretary of the Navy and Chief of Naval Operations, and the Department of Defense Representative for Ocean Policy Affairs. As the JAG, she led the 2,300 attorneys, enlisted paralegals, and civilian employees of the worldwide Navy JAG Corps community. She credits the Camden Catholic faculty with giving her the confidence to pursue her career as a Naval attorney. She is pictured with seniors Joe Keller and Dean Cahill. Each has an interest in serving in the Navy.
