Mick Kirchman, Saint Mary, Vineland, Class of ’13 and current senior at Saint Augustine Prep in Richland, built an outdoor classroom for his school Caritas Project. The Caritas Project is a service-oriented opportunity for rising seniors to enrich the community and is entirely student-driven.

Mick chose to build an outdoor classroom and amphitheater at his alma mater. He wanted to complete this project for Saint Mary School because Saint Mary’s had a great impact on his education. Mick stated, “I had an amazing experience at Saint Mary School and I want to make it even better for the students attending there now and in the future,” he said.

“Mick’s gift to the school is a legacy that will have a long lasting impact on all future students of Saint Mary School,” said Steven P. Hogan, Saint Mary principal.
