The Church Musicians Association of Camden, a branch of the National Pastoral Musicians, has granted four scholarships to youth in the Diocese of Camden for the 2009 Scholarship program.
To be eligible for this scholarship, any youth in the Camden Diocese, from grammar school age to college senior, must participate regularly in their parish’s music ministry program and must submit a one-page essay on what led them to music ministry and what it means to them.
The 2009 Scholarship winners are: Elaina Davidson, St. Paul Parish, Stone Harbor, college freshman, in the amount of $400; Andrew Ennis, St. Jude Parish, Blackwood, high school student, $200; and Timothy Poole, St. Peter Celestine, Cherry Hill, finishing grammar school, $50.
