Cycling raises money for school

bicyclists-webOn Saturday, June 5, 80 cycling enthusiasts biked to raise money for the San Miguel School in Camden, in the 11th annual XTreme Bike to the Shore, sponsored by the XTreme Biker’s Association (XBA). Riders rendezvoused at the Art Museum in Philadelphia, and biked 75 miles to the beaches of Avalon. This year, over $22,000 was raised for the San Miguel School, an independent Catholic Lasallian Middle School for young boys, whose educational needs are met regardless of their financial status. This is the fourth year in a row that the XTreme Bike to the Shore has raised money for the San Miguel School.
