Diocesan architect Art Basciano retires

Art Basciano, architect for the Diocese of Camden since 1993, has retired.

Basciano was involved in the development of a number of major capital projects for the diocese, including the St. Katherine Drexel Parish Hall, Egg Harbor Township; Assumption Church and School, now part of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Galloway; St. Vincent de Paul Church, Mays Landing; St. Joseph Church, Sea Isle City, and Our Lady of Lourdes Church, now part of Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish in Glassboro.

Basciano previously worked for Pennoni Associates Inc. in Philadelphia. He resides in Drexel Hill, Pa.
