Drexel University Online and diocese partner for higher education initiative

Drexel University Online, a provider of Internet-based higher education, is partnering with the Diocese of Camden to offer its professional staff and their immediate family professional development opportunities through reduced tuition on Drexel’s online education programs.

“We are so excited to join in a partnership with Drexel University Online,” said Mary Boyle, superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Camden. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for our teachers and their immediate family members to pursue further education at this top-notch university in a convenient online format.”

Under the provisions of the agreement, employees of the Diocese of Camden will be eligible for a 10-40 percent tuition reduction, payment deferral and additional benefits through the new partnership with Drexel Online. A special focus has been given to online educational programs (reduced by 30 percent), which are taught by nationally-recognized faculty from Drexel University’s School of Education.

The benefits begin immediately and include such support options as a customized curriculum to assist organizational development, interactive classrooms available day or night, and 24/7 live technical support via phone or e-mail.

Drexel University Online offers tuition discounts to employees and members of more than 600 diverse partner organizations. Other benefits include special programming to help companies maintain employee retention and a highly educated workforce, while additionally helping individuals remain at the top of their professions.
