Gloucester City will hold its first-ever Saint Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday, March 6, beginning at 1 p.m.
Saint Mary Parish, along with the Camden County Board of Freeholders, Gloucester City, the Gloucester City Business Association and Tavern Association, is sponsoring the event.
The parade, featuring string bands, bagpipers and Irish dance troops, will start at King and Monmouth Street, and proceed down Monmouth.
The event will kick off an Irish Week at Saint Mary Parish, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Irish independence. Other events include an Irish Nite on March 11, and an Eve of Saint Patrick Feast on March 16.
