Holy Trinity knows how to spell

Holy Trinity Regional School participated in the Greater Woodbury Area Junior Women’s Club Annual Community Spelling Bee Jan. 24 in the Woodbury High School Auditorium.
Fourth and fifth graders, 56 students in all, from nine different elementary schools participated.

Fourth grade participants from HTRS included Sofia Dalassandro, George Herrara, Christian Keating and Ethan Donahue. Fifth grade students from HTRS included: Andrew Zappley, Jake DeGregorio and Emily Bunch.

The top three winners all attended Holy Trinity: Third place, Jake DeGregorio, second place, Sofia Dalassandro, and the first place winner, Andrew Zappley. The two top winners, Andrew and Sofia, will continue on to the District Spelling Bee on Feb. 12 in Haddonfield.
