House of Charity Final Report, a night of celebration
Bishop Dennis Sullivan presents the Bishop’s Cup for Outstanding Achievement to Deacon Frank Crossen and Patrick Healy of Saint Mary Parish, Gloucester City, at the House of Charity Final Report Meeting, held June 28 at Saint Charles Borromeo Parish, Sicklerville. Formerly struggling to meet the parish goal, Msgr. William Hodge, pastor, and the parish team worked with the House of Charity Office. As a result, the parish exceeded its 2015 goal and is doing well with its current campaign. The Final Report meeting “was all about saluting our volunteer teams and clergy who truly allow the works of mercy to be accomplished throughout our diocese,” said Sheila McGirl, associate director, House of Charity-Bishop’s Annual Appeal. “We were able to report that 2015 broke all records of achievement. The programs and ministries of the Diocese of Camden are able to continue and help more people because of the success of the campaign.” Below, jazz musicians perform. The evening had a New Orleans jazz theme.
