With $7,057,182.40 raised to date, the House of Charity is closing in on its minimum need of $7,250,000.
“We are less than $200,000 away from raising all the budgeted funds anticipated at the start of the campaign,” said Mariann Gettings, director.
“Donations are literally being accepted 24/7 when you consider our online opportunities to give through our website,” she said.
Gifts and payments can be made for the current 2009 campaign through March 31, 2010, but donations received by Dec. 31, 2009 are deductible on one’s taxes to the fullest extent provided by law for the 2009 calendar year.
“As you count your blessings this Thanksgiving season, please consider sharing your gifts with a donation to the House of Charity which seeks to serve so many in South Jersey regardless of race, origin or creed,” Gettings said.
Gifts are accepted by the parish or by accessing the secure website at www.camdendiocese.org and clicking the House of Charity link.
