Linda Mora, 66, a former employee of the Diocese of Camden, died Aug.3.
Mora worked in the diocese from 1998-2009, most recently as a receptionist for the House of Charity.
Lynn Benjamin, who works in data entry for the House of Charity, knew Mora from when the two worked in the House of Charity office.
“Linda was outgoing, generous and knew everybody,” Benjamin remembered, adding that she loved the company of friends, especially during lunch gatherings.
Mora’s answering machine, she said, always ended with, “Remember that Jesus loves you.”
Robin Carpenter, another co-worker of Mora’s, recalled a “very religious, loving, kind, compassionate soul” who always cared about the people around her, remembering birthdays and always providing a kind smile.
“She was always praying for anyone who needed prayers,” Carpenter said.
“Linda had a deep inner faith,” she said.
Linda was the sister of Eugene A. and Pasquale J. Mora, and the aunt of Andrew, Paul, Jeannine and Nicole.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 8 at St. Jude Church, Our Lady of Hope Parish, in Blackwood. Interment was at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.
