Little Sisters Polish Festival

CHERRY HILL — The Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception will hold their 41st Annual Country Fair and Polish Festival Sunday, Sept. 13, rain or shine, on their  grounds at 1000 Cropwell Road in Cherry Hill, where they operate their U.S. provincialate and provitiate.

The annual festival supports some of the sisters’ worldwide mission activities in Africa, Eastern Europe, Eastern Siberia and in the Philippines, and the training of young sisters of the U.S. province.

From 11 a.m. until dusk, the festival will feature homemade Polish, Italian, and American foods, hot and cold refreshments, and specialty foods and desserts. Entertainment throughout the day will  include The Dennis Ostopowicz Polka Band,  The Ambertones Polka Band, Andy Citkowicz, Disc Jockey – Polkajammer, The PKM Polish Dance Group. Attractions also include a variety of theme-oriented booths such as religious articles, arts and crafts, white elephant items, and holiday gifts.

Free parking and shuttle bus service is available at nearby Beck Intermediate School on Cropwell Road and at Cherry Hill High School East on Kresson Road, opposite the Wexford East development. Admission donation to the Fairgrounds: $4,  children under 13 years free. Abundant shade, a covered pavilion, and an enclosed white elephant sale area.
