James Andrews, the Diocese of Camden’s director of Black Catholic Ministry and coordinator for the Racial Justice Commission, has been appointed Secretary of the National Association of Black Catholic Administrators (NABCA).
He will fulfill the unexpired secretary term until elections are held at the NABCA annual meeting in 2016.
Dedicated to ministry among African-Americans within the Catholic Church and to the growth in African-American leadership and participation in the church, NABCA provides a forum for black Catholic leaders to address the needs, issues and concerns of African-American communities; develop and mentor black Catholic leadership; and be a change agent for an inclusive church.
