Lourdes School of Nursing graduates Class of 2010

ololgrads-webCAMDEN — Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing recently held its graduation for the class of 2010 at Camden Catholic High School here. Thirty-five students graduated with a diploma in nursing, and an associate degree in science.

Anne McGinley, chief nursing officer and vice president of Education at Lourdes Health System, presented each student with their diploma in nursing, while Lisa M. Easterby, MSN, RN, CNE, dean and senior director of Education at Lourdes Health System, presented school pins to each student. Dr. Wendy Blume, dean of Math, Science and Health Careers was at the ceremony and represented Camden County College, which partners with Lourdes in its associate’s degree accreditation.

Awards were presented at the ceremony to the following students:

— Walter F. Wabby Award for Excellence in Emergency Room Nursing: Jamie Holden

— Vincent T. McDermott Award for Excellence in Medical Nursing: Joanna Bednarz

— Anthony V. Ziccardi Award for Excellence in Clinical Obstetrical Nursing: Dawn Wisdom

— Anthony Repici Award for Excellence in Clinical Pediatric Nursing: Kristen Lee

— Sister M. John Francis Coyle, OSF Award for Caring: Shanna Houston

— Jordan Middleton Award for Patient Advocacy: Christina Harbeson

— OLOL School of Nursing Alumni Award: Tricia Bray

— Sister M. Elizabeth Corry, OSF Award: Brian Huffnagle

— William Forrest Rahl Award Exemplifying the “6 Pearls of Practice”: Fay Galanti
