The Math Department of St. Joseph High School, Hammonton, on April 13 held its first Middle School Math Competition, bringing together seventh- and eighth-grade students from St. Mary (Gloucester), Assumption (Galloway), Christ the King (Haddonfield), John Paul II (Stratford) and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (Berlin) for individual and group tournaments. Individual winners were Brennan Perkins (Assumption), first place; Nicholas Barnaba (Christ the King), second place; and Scott Dunn (Christ the King), third place. Group competition winners were Christ the King (Nicholas Barnaba, Jonathan Carrie, Scott Dunn and Maddie King), first place; Assumption (Jack Marczyk, Olivia Valiante, Brennan Perkins and Rachel Schafer), second place; and Our Lady of Mt.
