Eileen Potts of Somerdale died at the age of 24 in 1979. During her hospital stays she was visited on two occasions by Mother Teresa. She was so pleased with a photograph of one of the visits (left) that her parents had the scene reproduced on the headstone of her grave in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. Also engraved on the stone is a favorite prayer of Mother Teresa’s: “Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of Christ risen.” (CNS photo/Robert S. Halvey)
