New diocesan director of Lay Ministry Formation

jolynnheadshot2012-webJoLynn Krempecki has been named Director of Lay Ministry Formation for the Diocese of Camden.
In her role, Krempecki will actualize the Diocesan Vision, providing resources and initatives for all facets of parish lay ministry in the diocese, including the development of formation programs with institutions of higher learning, as well as continuing education for parish lay ministers.
Since 2003, she had served in Administration for Lay Ecclesial Ministry in the Diocese of Trenton, where she developed, implemented and supervised the Diocesan Formation Program for lay leaders.
From 2011-13, she was the department head of Lay Formation for the Diocese of Trenton, and supervised such areas as Lay Ecclesial Ministry, and Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
Krempecki is a member of the National Association for Lay Ministry. From 2009-12, she served as co-chair of the Association’s Formation Director Institute Planning Committee, and was a member of the Standards Committee.
She received her bachelor’s degree in fine arts, with a minor in theology, from the College of St. Elizabeth, Convent Station, N.J, in 1971.
Krempecki received her master’s degree in pastoral ministry, with a concentration in spirituality, from Immaculate Conception Seminary, Seton Hall, South Orange, N.J., in 1994.
