Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing held its graduation on Thursday, May 14 at Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill.
Forty students graduated with a diploma in Nursing, and an Associate Degree in Science. Alexander J. Hatala, President and CEO of Our Lady of Lourdes Health System, presented the diplomas in Nursing, and Dr. Anne McGinley, PhD, RN, APN, C, and Dean of Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing presented the school pins. Dr. Wendy Blume, Dean of Math, Science and Health Careers, represented Camden County College.
Special awards were given to Kimberly Stanton Miller, Highest Scholastic Achievement Award; Valerie R. Scherle, Vincent T. McDermott Award for Excellence in Medical Nursing; Ashley M. Kensler, Edward T. Ciccione Award for Excellence in Clinical Obstetrical Nursing; Megan R. O’Hara, Robert L. Rehermann Award for Excellence in Clinical Pediatric Nursing; Katsiaryna Vasilyeva, Sister M. John Francis Coyle, OSF Award for Caring; Tatina L. Carr, Jordan Middleton Award for Patient Advocacy; Danielle J. Cooper; OLOL School of Nursing Alumni Award; Teresa Dwornik, Sister M. Elizabeth Corry, OSF Award; Kristen L. Bowen, William Forrest Rahl Award Exemplifying the “6 Pearls of Practice”; and to Deanna L. Paul, Walter F. Wabby Award for Excellence in Emergency Room Nursing.
