Pilgrimage
On May 16, parishioners from Avalon’s Saint Brendan the Navigator Parish traveled to Cape May for a Year of Mercy pilgrimage at Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish. By making the pilgrimage, the pilgrims received an indulgence during this Jubilee Year. Msgr. John Frey, pastor at Saint Brendan the Navigator, was the principal celebrant for the liturgy, while Father Francis Danella, OSFS, pastor of Our Lady Star of the Sea, shared the faith to visitors in his homily.
