In high school varsity soccer action, home team Holy Spirit defeated visiting Wildwood Catholic 3-0 on Nov 4 in a South Jersey Non-Public B girls soccer playoff game. Audrey Wilson had six saves for 4th seed Holy Spirit, preserving the shutout against the 13th seed. In its semifinal game against top-seeded St. Rose, on Nov. 19, Holy Spirit lost, 4-0. On Nov. 5, in a South Jersey Non-Public A boys playoff game, home team St. Augustine Prep, 3rd seed, defeated Bishop Eustace (Pennsauken), 14th seed, 5-0 in Richland. Dan Aucoin had four saves for the victorious Hermits. In a quarterfinal, St. Augustine fell to 6th seed Immaculata, 0-0 after regulation, but 4-2 in the penalty kicks round.
