Paul VI High School, Haddon Township, announces the 2012 recipients of its scholarship awards. Recognized by Paul VI High School for superior academic achievement are Alexia Ildefonso of St. Mary School in Williamstown; Nathan King of Christ the King School in Haddonfield; Katherine Napolitano of John Paul II School in Stratford; and Rachel Robb of Our Lady of Hope School in Blackwood. Each of the four eighth grade students from throughout South Jersey earned top scores on the High School Placement Test (HSPT) and received an annually renewable scholarship to Paul VI. Award categories include the Principal’s Scholarship, the President’s Scholarship and the St. Lucy Filippini Scholarship. Funding for the scholarships is provided through the Paul VI Annual Giving Campaign, which is supported by alumni and friends of Paul VI High School.
Students at Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School participated in the Annual Zaner Bloser Handwriting Contest. Six students from the school became eligible for state grade-level winners. Winners are Dante Edwardi, Rilee Lind, David Burrows, Michaela Pfeiffer, Erin Roman, Frankie Edwardi and Margot O’Keefe.
