The Christ the King EnviroKnights will conduct their second annual Earth Day donation drive on April 16.
The school group is encouraging people to take items from their spring cleaning to the donation drive, which will take place from noon to 2 p.m. in the Christ the King School parking lot, 164 Hopkins Ave., Haddonfield. Among the items can be household goods, newer televisions, furniture, building materials, doors, small appliances, flooring and lighting.
The EnviroKnights will donate the items to the Metro Camden Habitat for Humanity ReStore, a discount home improvement shop that helps Habitat for Humanity to provide housing for underprivileged people. Those who take items to the donation drive will receive a charitable donation receipt, reduce the flow of unwanted items into landfills and help Habitat for Humanity.
Those who have items they want to donate that are too large to take to the school are asked to contact the ReStore at 856-486-0040 or restore@habitatcamden.org for pickup.
Other questions can be directed to Melissa at 856-701-1621.
