Mario Monfardini has been named the head soccer coach at St. Augustine Prep, Richland. Monfardini has been the head coach at Sacred Heart for the past two years where he compiled a 35-5-1 record and won two CAL National Conference titles. A 1994 graduate of the Prep, Monfardini was a member of two state title teams and is the third leading scorer in the school’s history. He played soccer at Lehigh University and continued his career in the USL with the N.J. Stallions and later with the Delaware Wizards. Monfardini replaces Coach Les Heggan.

St. Augustine Prep has named Villanova defensive coordinator Mark Reardon as new head football coach. Reardon has been at Villanova for the last 11 years, the past seven as defensive coordinator. He is a Holy Spirit graduate and is a 1993 graduate of Lafayette College. Reardon will also serve in St. Augustine’s College Guidance Department.
