St. Augustine Preparatory School, Richland, has been granted accreditation by the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS).
Augustinian Father Donald F. Reilly, school president, was notified by letter on Jan. 27. The Prep was found to be to “a preeminent school in South Jersey,” said Carole Everett, NJAIS executive director. “St. Augustine Preparatory School embraced the accreditation process in an exemplary manner resulting in the very conscientious preparation of the thorough Self-Study that was truly an inclusive undertaking for the entire community. Goals of accreditation are critical self-reflection and school improvement. The Prep realized these goals and more, and is poised for further positive growth and development.”
The next step for St. Augustine Prep is to complete and submit an Action Plan by Nov. 15, which will be based on the Self-Study and the report of the Visiting Team.
