The eighth grade students took over the classrooms at St. Michael the Archangel Regional School on Friday, Feb. 4. During Teacher Appreciation Day, part of the school’s celebration of Catholic Schools Week, the older students taught the youngsters from 8:30-9:15 a.m. The main office was staffed by secretaries Lindsey Heegan, Jackie Kukon, Karly Guevarra, Julianna Voleno; Anthony Novak, nurse; and Veronica LaMastro, acting co-principal. Later in the day there was a faculty-student volleyball game. Top photo, eighth grader Krissy Kozehyn helps younger students.
