The Diocese of Camden’s Office of Hispanic Ministry is offering an evening of training for parish couple leaders next Friday, Oct. 23.

Two couple leaders from each of the 24 diocesan parishes with Hispanic ministries will attend the invite-only event, from 6-9 p.m. at John Paul II Retreat Center in Vineland.

The evening will begin with dinner, followed by a concert with Sylvia Mariella, and concluding with a training seminar from Colombian priest, Father Jaime Perez.

Andres Arango, Bishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry in the Diocese of Camden, said the program is designed to “encourage couples working in their parishes with families, and provide practical tools to them, as well as aid parishes looking to initiate ministry to Latino families.”
