Students in South Jersey Catholic Schools, Diocese of Camden, are among the 10% of students in the country who attend non-public schools. With the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, many families may be unable to continue to choose Catholic school because they cannot afford tuition, putting the future of Catholic schools at great risk.

As Congress works on a fourth phase of federal economic stimulus relief, Catholic school communities, friends and supporters are being asked to contact lawmakers to ask for financial support for Catholic school families. Under consideration is support in the form of equitable relief services, direct aid, grants, tax credits and/or expanded use of current 529 savings plans for K-12 education expenses.
The New Jersey Catholic Conference has made it easy to reach out to Senators Cory Booker and Bob Menendez, and Representatives Donald Norcross (District 1) or Jeff Van Drew (District 2), depending on where in South Jersey a sender lives.
