A Memorial Mass was held on Jan. 24 at St. Bridget’s Church in Glassboro, to remember three Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who were killed in Israel on Christmas Eve.
Sister M. Salvatorina Camilleri, 67; Sister M. Valeria Briccoli, 67; and Sister M. Rania Haddad, 34, were traveling to Bethlehem, for Christmas services, when the accident occurred. Sister M. Salvatorina Camilleri is the sister of Sister M. Bianca Camilleri, FMIHM, a teacher at Good Shepherd Regional School in Collingswood.
The Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Glassboro thanked “the Reverend Clergy, Deacons, Religious Sisters, and everyone who attended the Memorial Mass. Your expressions of sympathy and ongoing care and concern are very much appreciated. We promise you our prayers. God bless you.”
