With the start of a new school year, high school sports in South Jersey’s Catholic schools have kicked into high gear.
On Sept. 9, the visiting Bishop Eustace football squad defeated Gloucester Catholic in Gloucester City. Above, the Rams’ offense runs down the field, while below, the Crusaders celebrate a touchdown.
The next weekend, Sept. 16, Paul VI went up against visiting Saint Augustine Preparatory in boys soccer in Haddonfield. Below, Saint Augustine’s Justin Ceccanecchio celebrates with teammates after scoring a goal. The Hermits outlasted the Eagles, with Ceccanecchio scoring twice for the victors.
