Pope Francis declared 2024 the Year of Prayer in his Angelus address on January 21, 2024, to prepare Catholics for the 2025 Jubilee Year, “Pilgrims of Hope.” The year is intended to help Catholics rediscover the value of prayer in their personal lives, in the Church, and in the world.
