Voices lifted in song and a procession honoring Black Catholics up for sainthood opened the annual Black History Month Mass celebrated Feb. 23 at Saint Bridget University Parish in Glassboro. The Mass, celebrated by Coadjutor Bishop Joseph Williams, brought together laity, clergy and religious women from across the Diocese of Camden to honor the accomplishments, sacrifices and faith of Black Catholics and their contributions in building up the kingdom of God.
