societyofstewardsdinner-webThe 10th annual Bishop’s Society of Stewards, to honor those individuals who have donated $5,000 or more in a particular House of Charity-Bishop’s Annual Appeal campaign year, was celebrated Oct. 27 at Auletto Caterers, Deptford. Guest speaker Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS, provided a spiritual dimension to the evening, and John Paul II Regional School, Stratford, student, Marco Romeo, spoke about the value of the special education programs offered in the Camden Diocese that are funded by the House of Charity. John Desparrois, coordinator of Catholic Charities in Salem and Cumberland counties, provided insight into the effects of contributions for Social Services.
