The St. Joseph (Hammonton) Wildcats high school football team won the state Non-Public II championship on Saturday, Nov. 21, defeating Gloucester Catholic, 28-14 at Paul VI High School in Haddon Township. It was the first championship for the Wildcats since 2006, when they were at the end of a state-record eight straight titles, dating back to 1999. Gordon Hill and Kaheem Reynolds each took the ball into the end zone twice for St. Joseph’s. In the photo, the team, with Coach Paul Sacco, celebrates their big win.
