Gooch and The Motion will perform a benefit concert for Saint John of God Community Services, Westville Grove, on Friday, Oct. 25.
Saint John of God Community Services and Archbishop Damiano School, Westville Grove, will hold a benefit concert on Friday, Oct. 25, to raise awareness for and support education and the programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Gooch and The Motion, with a blend of country, blues, and rock n’ roll will lead the concert.
Formed in 2016, Gooch and The Motion began as a rotation of many musicians from the Philadelphia and New Jersey area. The core of the band is a six-piece group that performs both festival and intimate club venues. The Motion have performed with The Allman Brothers, Lynryd Skynyrd, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and blues master Walter Trout.
Saint John of God Community Services is a non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities, with multi-dimensional services to individuals and families throughout each stage of life. Its programs include a private K-12 special needs school (Archbishop Damiano School), early intervention, inclusive daycare and preschool (Here We Grow Learning Center), adult job training and day services, therapeutic recreation, religious education and clinic services.
