The Blessed Edmund Early Childhood Education Center, Cherry HIll, anticipated the birthday celebration of their patron, Blessed Edmund Bojanowski (born Nov. 14, 1814), with a celebration on Friday, Nov. 12. Above, Sister Elizabeth Potuczko, director, guides some children at the presentation of gifts during the Mass celebrated by Father Zbigniew Majcher, SDB, chaplain of the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, in the nearby Provincialate Chapel in Cherry Hill. One of the children brought up a first-class relic of Blessed Edmund Bojanowski. Earlier on, Father asked some children what they knew about Blessed Edmund. The simple responses were that he loved God, children and the poor, and opened schools and helped the sick and those in need. This year the Congregation of the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception is celebrating its 160th anniversary of foundation by Blessed Edmund Bojanowski.
