Coach Sacco honored by Philadelphia Eagles

Paul Sacco, head coach of the Saint Joseph High School (Hammonton) Wildcats Football team, has been recognized by the Philadelphia Eagles as an honorary high school “Coach of the Week.”

In a letter from the Eagles’ Community Relations Department, Sacco was named due to his “tireless efforts in aiding the development of youth football at the high school level.”

The Eagles presented Sacco with a $1,000 donation toward strengthening Saint Joseph’s

Athletic department, and he was invited to the team’s 2016 training camp.

Last fall, Sacco led the Wildcats to their seventh straight state title. He is South Jersey’s all-time leader in career wins, with a 288-58-5 record.
