In early October, Hispanic faithful throughout the Diocese of Camden will gather in Vineland for a day of faith and fellowship in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.

This year’s theme for the annual diocesan Hispanic Celebration spotlights the National Eucharistic Revival, “My Flesh for the Life of the World.” Those gathered will not only join together “in communion with God, but in communion with our brothers and sisters … celebrating our faith and culture,” says Andrés Arango, Bishop’s Delegate for Hispanic Ministry and diocesan Director of Evangelization.
The day includes Mass celebrated by Bishop Dennis Sullivan, a procession of Hispanic ministries from parishes across the Diocese’s six counties, Eucharistic Adoration and a traditional Hispanic cuisine fellowship meal.
“As we spend time in front of the Eucharist, we will be empowered to share Jesus in our own communities,” he says.
The celebration will take place from 2:45 to 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Ave., Vineland. For more information, call 856-583-6170, or e-mail rubi.lukasiewicz@camdendiocese.org.
