On May 26 the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary celebrated their 50 years in the United States, with a Mass of thanksgiving at the Church of St. Bridget in Glassboro. Founded by Blessed Mother M. Catherine Troiani, the order today numbers 600 Sisters throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America. In the Diocese of Camden, 28 sisters have served in Blackwood, Westmont, Deptford, Williamstown and Glassboro throughout the past 50 years.
