South Jersey Catholic Schools extends a warm welcome to Dr. Janice Fipp, newly appointed interim principal at Saint Joseph’s Regional School in Somers Point.
Dr. Fipp began her career as a principal in the Linwood public school system and served as curriculum advisor, special education supervisor and elementary school principal before becoming superintendent of schools for the Northfield Board of Education.
“The appointment is another blessing from God for me,” said Dr. Fipp. “He has placed me in a marvelous school environment, [where] teachers, staff, students and our pastor, Father Jaromir, have been so welcoming. I look forward to getting to know every family and student.
“I also invite more families to join us here for an exciting school year, where our children not only learn to excel in all areas of education, but most importantly, to build a relationship with God for today and for their future,” she said.
Schools Superintendent Mary Boyle feels blessed by Dr. Fipp’s appointment as well. “We are so lucky that Dr. Fipp has joined Saint Joe’s,” said Boyle. “She brings years of administrative and classroom experience, and a deep appreciation for our Catholic identity and mission.”
Dr. Fipp is an active, long-time parishioner at Saint Gianna Beretta Molla Parish in Northfield.
