On Saturday February 16th, 2019, Archangel Council 7429 of Berlin, NJ hosted their 4th Annual Pasta Dinner. This event involved some 25 to 30 volunteers over the course of about a month to plan, prepare and cook for the event and in the end raised $6,000!

Two master chefs (Brother Lou Sabec and Brother Jim Lamaina) were the core of the fine cuisine served for the event. Many hours were spent in the kitchen at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School, Berlin for the hundreds to enjoy. The evening was enjoyed by 270 paid attendees and approx. 30 volunteers on that Saturday. Homemade delicious appetizers and rolls were served to every table while the crowd waited for the main buffet lines to open up. Berlin Borough town Crooner Rich LaLena was on board to soothe the crowd with his Sinatra styled sets of live music. Brother Knight, DJ Tommy Digangi handled the sound for
the entire 4 hour event. The crowd enjoyed endless pastas (6 types), home made meatballs and gravy, homemade soup, salad, deserts and much more.

In between music sets and courses of the dinner, Grand Knight, Rich Cattell gave away over 20 door Prizes totaling more than $500. He also called out two 50/ 50’s paying out almost $1,000!!! With the $25 price tag per person, each person had a great time eating, drinking, sway to cool tunes, winning prizes and raising a total of $6,000!!!! ALL proceeds will be donated to
