At Saint Mary of Mount Carmel, Hammonton, above and below, 22 volunteers helped the parish’s Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry distribute 81 baskets full of turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, pies and other Thanksgiving fixings on Nov. 18. Said parishioner Ed Muller, “It was phenomenal to be able to help these people and their needs. I can’t thank enough the volunteers and organizations that made this possible.” Among those was parishioner Michael Robinson, who raised more than $2,000 to purchase the turkeys as part of his Eagle Scout project.
