Bishop Dennis Sullivan has announced the appointment of two new pastors:

– Msgr. Roger E. McGrath, senior priest at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Lindenwold, has been named pastor of Saints Peter and Paul, Turnersville, effective July 1.
– Father Jason T. Rocks, parochial vicar at Mary, Mother of the Church, Glassboro, has been named pastor of St. Gianna Beretta Molla, Northfield, for a six-year term, effective July 1.

Msgr. McGrath, 70, who holds a doctorate in theology, has served the Diocese of Camden as a parish priest and administrator, and also worked at seminaries in Washington and Baltimore.
From 2007-13, he served as vicar general of the Diocese of Camden, and from 2005-13 was episcopal vicar for administration and moderator of the curia. Among the other administrative positions he has held are assistant superintendent of schools for religious education; director of evangelization, communications, and development; vicar for pastoral services; director of Nazareth House; and diocesan supervisor of seminarians.
He was pastor at Our Lady Of Grace in Somerdale, from 2001-05.
Msgr. McGrath studied at The Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and Notre Dame College in South Bend, Indiana, and was ordained on May 22, 1971, in Camden.

Father Rocks, 41, studied at Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J, and at the North American College in Rome, Italy before being ordained on July 13, 2002, in Camden.
From 2008-10, he was administrator, and later pastor, at St. Gregory Church in Magnolia.
Most recently, Father Rocks served as parochial vicar at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish in Glassboro, where he has been serving since 2011.
He was also parochial vicar at St. Joseph, Sea Isle City (2002); St. Ann, Wildwood (2003-07); Incarnation, Mantua (2007-08); St. Rita, Bellmawr (2010); and Our Lady of Lourdes, Glassboro (2010-11).
From 2003-2007, he was chaplain of Wildwood Catholic High School.
