The Villagers, who were the No. 1 seed in the bracket, outscored their opponents by a dominating 227-113 in the state tournament.
Newfield’s OLMA won 10 of the 11 events in the final, including double wins by Scarlett McGlinchey (200 individual medley, 100 butterfly), Izzy Rossi (50 freestyle, 100 backstroke) and Isabela Valle (200 and 500 freestyle). Sarah Kern won the 100 breaststroke in a 1-2-3 Villagers finish that clinched the match.
