— Students of Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill, held an outdoor service April 20 commemorating the 19th anniversary of the mass shooting at Columbine High School and remembering victims of the recent Stoneman Douglas violence in Parkland, Florida. Seniors Emma Daverso and Emily Deveraux led students in prayer. Faculty member Jeff Bruckner encouraged students to act with kindness as Jesus would and to become educated about issues affecting their generation. The voluntary service was a prayerful alternative to the national student walkout planned for that day. Pictured at far right is school president Mary Whipkey.
