Father Paul Turner will present four identical seminars next month to help parishes prepare for implementation of the revised Missal.

A priest and pastor of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, he holds a doctorate in sacred theology from Sant’ Anselmo in Rome. He is a former president of the North American Academy of Liturgy and a team member for the North American Forum on the Catechumenate. He serves as a facilitator for the International Commission on English in the Liturgy.

All interested Catholics are invited to attend Father Turner’s seminar. Registration is required.

— Our Lady of the Angels Parish, Cape May Court House, Monday, March 21, 12:30-3:30 p.m.

— St. Isidore Parish, Vineland, Monday, March 21, 7-9:30 p.m.

— St. Charles Borromeo Parish, Washington Township, Tuesday, March 22, 12:30-3:30 p.m.

— Holy Child Parish/St. Maria Goretti Church, Runnemede, Tuesday, March 22, 12:30-3:30 p.m.

In addition, there will be sessions for liturgical musicians during April and May to further familiarize musicians with their particular changes. Parish music directors, musicians, cantors and choir members will have opportunities to sing through some of the newly composed (or re-composed) settings for the revised texts. There will be selections from all publishers in various styles of music.

— Holy Family Church, Sewell, Wednesday, April 27, 7-9:30 p.m.

— St. Thomas Church, Brigantine, Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

— St. Padre Pio Church, Vineland, Friday, May 6, 7-9:30 p.m.

— Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Camden, Saturday, June 4, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Both Father Turner’s seminar and the sessions for liturgical musicians are being sponsored by the Office of Worship and Christian Formation, Diocese of Camden, which has already distributed to parishes materials on understanding the revised Mass texts.

To register for either or both seminars, get a registration form by contacting Cherryl Summers (csummers@camdendiocese.org, 856-583-6137) or by going to www.camdendiocese.org.
