Story of the first African American priest on Sept. 23

“Tolton: From Slave to Priest,” a one-man performance based on the life of Father Augustus Tolton, the first African American priest, will be presented at Holy Spirit High School, Absecon, on Sunday, Sept. 23, at 3 p.m.

The event is being coordinated by the Parish of Saint Monica and the Black Catholic Leadership Ministry of the Parish of Saint Monica.
